STARTING AGAIN

Comenzamos andadura en el IES Murillo. Con mucha ilusión y a la vez con mucha responsabilidad.

Intentaré utilizar este blog como un medio de comunicación con vosotros, para ayudaros en la tarea de vuestra educación matemática. Y espero que lo utiliceis y ayudeis con ello a mantener vivo!!! Me gustaría que me comentarais lo que os parece más útil, lo que menos... etc. And for my english courses (most of them)... in English, of course!!!!

EJERCICIOS PARA EL VERANO

Aquí teneis cuadernillos de trabajo para el verano, por cursos. Es muy importante que los hagais, y fundamental para aquellos que estais justitos (teneis un 5) o suspensos.

Podeis imprimir este cuadernillo de ejercicios. Falta algo de geometría que podeis repasar con vuestro cuaderno.  El resto está bastante completo.

Podeis imprimir y hacer este cuadernillo de ejercicios. Si os fijais hay como dos partes: Opción A y Opción B. Podeis hacer una de ellas, y cuando hayais terminado, repasais con la otra. O si se os da mal una parte en especial (el álgebra por ejemplo), hacer todos los de esa parte hasta que los hayais dominado.

So that, remember: when you have a mathematical expression, you have to follow this order:

1. Parentheses,
2. Exponents,
3. Multiplications and Divisions
4. Additions and Substractions

Don´t worry if you don´t understand all the words, the most important thing is to understand the general idea!!

2.-EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS

Read this website and copy in your notebook what are equivalent fractions.

Remember:

TO OBTEIN EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS:

• In order to obtein another fraction equivalent to the one given, we only have to multiply or divide its terms (numerator and denominator) by the same number.

TO CHECK IF TWO FRACTIONS ARE EQUIVALENT:

The product of the numerator of a fraction by the denominator of the other must have the same value in both cases.

That is the same than saying "We "cross-multiply" its terms.
